The above number called my mobile for 8 seconds then hung up. I checked online about this number and found no information. Possibly someone who needs to show evidence that they've called my (& possibly many other) numbers to show their boss they are trying to drum up business. I can't think of any other reason (other than maybe they're bored and stupid).

Called twice within an hour, left no message. Called back and someone called “Peter” answered the phone. Didn’t speak with them.

Has called 4 times now, only picked up the second with no response to my "hello?" Before googling the number. Heard a what might have been a car indicator so seems like a real person and not an automated call. It's almost 11pm so I can't imagine a legitimate reason for calling.

02 8007 5622 Indian caller said he was from TELSTRA NBN advising he had noticed my Internet connection was SLOW from the SERVER. To gain my confidence he said "This is NOT a SCAM". He already had my name (from a DATA BREACH of unknown source) and then offered his name Telstra ID number and phone number 280075522 ODD that he did NOT say 02 8007 5522 He was very PERSISTANT that I could ring him back and he would GUIDE me through how I can FIX my computer. Finally I got rid of him so I could ring TELSTRA NBN on their public listed AUSTRALIAN phone number (and from my BILL). The above number - 2 8007 5622 and 02 8007 5622 IS NOT CONNECTED SCAM
